New building announcement

Update on our discussion in the past year about the possibility of constructing a new multipurpose center at Springer Park. The Board has been in talks with Williams Architecture about this project. After meeting with Mr. Williams and conducting a site visit a couple of months ago, we have concluded that the cost of this project would be too high. Therefore, the Board has decided to change course on this project. Our initial aim was to create space for our growing office staff, either by building a new MPC so that the old one could be used as office space, or by exploring the possibility of a completely new office space.

At a recent meeting, Mr. Williams discussed the office project with the Board to determine its feasibility. After reviewing the details, he expressed that pursuing this option would be a great decision. He instructed the Board to begin by preparing Division 1, Lot 152 near the entrance for perc holes and a septic design, as it's the proposed location for the new office. The Board has approved moving forward with these plans.

We should create a safe, spacious, and efficient working environment for our office staff to better serve our community and a private area for discussing accounts with members. This will also give our community a more professional appearance. The current MPC will be transformed into a dedicated multipurpose center. Currently, it's difficult to hold any activities at the MPC during work hours due to confidentiality restrictions and staff work. This project will significantly improve how we serve our community. Stay tuned for more updates on this topic. If you would like more details, please feel free to attend an upcoming meeting as this will be a standing item on the agenda.
