Experience the best of nature, recreation and community

…your retreat from the city awaits!

Timberlake Community Club (Timberlake CC) was founded in 1966 as a private HOA designed as a place to gather with friends and family centered around the common enjoyment of outdoor recreation. Nestled just 20 minutes from the town of Shelton, our community offers a wonderful place of leisurely relaxation with a little bit of something for everyone.

Our members enjoy exclusive use of our two neighborhood lakes, Big Lake and Little Lake, both of which have a boat launch and parks to host a variety of water activities such as kayaking, water skiing, paddleboarding, canoeing, swimming and fishing. As an added bonus, our lakes are meticulously stocked each year with a diverse range of fish, including perch, bream, bluegill, and rainbow trout.

At Timberlake CC, we share our home with a multitude of wildlife such as deer, beavers, otters, opossum, racoons and a vast variety of birds, like geese, loons, herons, ducks, eagles, etc.

Timberlake Community Club is surrounded by thousands of acres of Green Diamond forestlands. Green Diamond generously shares use of their land with the public, but Timberlake has the privilege of our own entrance from within the community, allowing easy access for exploration on foot or by ATV.

The membership also has exclusive access to our private saltwater park at Pickering Passage. The park has picnic tables and BBQs to enjoy with your company, and a private parking lot and boat launch for ease of use, all behind a secure gate, where you can safely store your trailer while you adventure out on the sound, take in the scenery, and go boating, crabbing or fishing. The Puget Sound offers some of the PNW’s finest clams and oysters, too!

Timberlake Community Club isn’t just for nature enthusiasts, though, we have something to offer for everyone! The Activities Committee hosts a multitude of free, engaging members-only events for the whole community to enjoy, like our annual Fishing Derby, Taco Tuesday, Pasta night, Egg Hunt, Ice Cream Social, Craft Bazaars, 4th of July Annual Community Garage Sale, and our Annual Community Meeting with food, fun and more!

We often host events at one of our 8 parks sprinkled throughout the neighborhood or at our Multi-Purpose center (the MPC), where many of our community, board, and committee meetings are also held. The MPC is also offered to members on a first-come, first-served reservation basis to host their own private events.

Head to our Events or News pages to check out a bit of our history and see what awaits you!

LAKES

Timberlakes has two lakes within the community. Big Timberlake (or Big Lake) is known for its great fishing, boating, and swimming, with Timber Park and a swimming area on one end and bridge access to our Island Park, including a gazebo and event area at the other, which is right across from a marshy wetlands area full of wildlife to observe.

Second, is our smaller lake known as Little Timberlake. This quaint lake is known for non-motorized boating, fishing and swimming as well. Both lakes are private use for our members only and their guests.

PARKS

Throughout Timberlake we have multiple parks in our community. These parks include a range of unique beauty. Some have play equipment for children, one has a basketball court, a baseball field and disc golfing holes, others have gazebos, picinic tables and more. There are restroom facilities at both ends of big lake and at Cedar Park. (Keys are available for members at the office inside the MPC). Pictured here is Island Park at Big Lake.
