Welcome to Timberlake Community Club!

“Nature’s Beauty, Community Strength”

About Us

Timberlake Community Club (Timberlakes) is a well-established Home Owners Association fostering a strong sense of neighborly camaraderie amongst its residents. Nestled just 20 minutes from the town of Shelton, our private community offers a wonderful place of leisure for outdoor enthusiasts. Our members enjoy exclusive access to our private saltwater park at Pickering Passage, and our two neighborhood lakes, all of which have a boat launch and can indulge in a variety of water activities such as kayaking, water skiing, paddleboarding, canoeing, and swimming. Our lakes are meticulously stocked each year with a diverse range of fish, including perch, bream, bluegill, and rainbow trout, providing ample opportunities for fishing enthusiasts. Members further enjoy access to our MultiPurpose center (MPC), which is offered to members on a first-come, first-served reservation basis for private events. Timberlakes also hosts many of our community, board, and committee meetings at the MPC, as well as a multitude of free, engaging membership-only events here, such as Taco Tuesdays, pasta nights, ice Cream socials, and craft bazaars. Experience the best of nature and water recreation and community at Timberlakes, where endless enjoyment awaits!

Lakes

Timberlakes has two lakes within the community. Big Timberlake (or Big Lake) is known for its great fishing, boating, and swimming, with Timber Park and a swimming area on one end and bridge access to our Island Park, including a gazebo and event area at the other, which is right across from a marshy wetlands area full of wildlife to observe.

Second, is our smaller lake known as Little Timberlake. This quaint lake is known for non-motorized boating, fishing and swimming as well. Both lakes are private use for our members only and their guests.

Parks

Throughout Timberlake we have 5 parks in our community. These parks include a range of uniqueness. Some parks have play equipment for children, a basketball court, a baseball field, disc golfing holes, gazebos and much more. As seen in the picture here, this is the Island Park at Big Timberlake.
